“dersetzling” – a new name in the creative world
Ever since my apprenticeship, I've dreamed of being a "Schweizerdegen." In the trade, this term referred to craftsmen who were both typesetters and printers, mastering every step of the craft from design to production. After more than 25 years of experience in the graphic arts industry, my dream has come true, and I can now call myself an expert in graphic design, prepress, and printing.
I am therefore very pleased to be able to offer you this know-how with my Typesetting and printing studio & advertising agency "dersetzling e. U."

Unique pieces.
As in times long past, unique "art prints" will be created in my Craft workshop.
From wedding invitations and business cards to certificates, we work with lead and wooden type, as well as custom-made printing plates, to bring the designs to life on paper using a cast-iron treadle press, an old toggle press, or other historical letterpress machines. Exquisitely finished with blind embossing, hot foil stamping, or a personalized wax seal, each unique piece is given the value and attention it deserves. The value of the exceptional – expressed with loving craftsmanship.

This applies to the origin of the products, but also to the manufacturing process. We prefer to work with local businesses. Furthermore, we place great emphasis on sustainable packaging and recycled paper. Eco-setzling isn't just meant to be on the label, but a lived responsibility – a tangible, contributing part of all our ideas and work processes.
